One the morning of August 6, 1945 there were two suns over the Japanese city of Hiroshima.
One was made by the hand of man. To our generation ground zero means New York City in September,2011. Before that fateful day ground zero most certainly implied the exact spot the first time an Atomic Bomb was used against humanity.
