France - Paris - Le Pantheon
Darrell Godliman has added a photo to the pool:
The shadows in this morning shot of the Pantheon were quite blue already but I've turned them up a notch or two.
From Wikipedia : "The Panthon (Latin: Pantheon, from Greek Pantheon, meaning "Every god") is a building in the Latin Quarter in Paris. It was originally built as a church dedicated to St. Genevieve and to house the reliquary chsse containing her relics, but after many changes now functions as a secular mausoleum containing the remains of distinguished French citizens. It is an early example of neoclassicism, with a faade modeled on the Pantheon in Rome, surmounted by a dome that owes some of its character to Bramante's "Tempietto". Located in the 5th arrondissement on the Montagne Sainte-Genevive, the Panthon looks out over all of Paris."
PS Just realised I made Explore two days running with my recent fountain shots, this latest one has only had 50 views, 3 comments and 3 faves ?
