marathi families visiting the vitthala temple. on the left is iconic stone chariot, that was used in temple ceremonies. the stone wheels are now almost frozen, though one can distinctly see the wheel fixed on the axis. in the right is huge gateway entrance to the temple complex.

The Nite Tripper has combined a photo to a pool: This is a sketch that was taken during a 1930's archaeological mine of a Mississippian burial pile located in a tiny village of Tolu upon a banks of a Ohio River in Crittenden County, Kentucky. This was one of a series of archaeological excavations that occurred in a Western Kentucky area during a 1930's by a University of Kentucky with appropriation from President Roosevelt's New Deal programs. Tolu was a site of a tiny Mississippian Indian town that was comprised of three large, gritty mounds as well as numerous tiny mounds. The Mississippians were a people that inhabited this region about 1,000 years ago (these burials have been antiquated to about 1200, AD) This enlightenment widespread throughout a Southeastern as well as Northeastern United States. lugaresadescubrir has added a photo to the pool: Este tramo del ro cerca de Pinho es la confluencia en muy pocos kilmetros de varios municipios: al menos los de Tabuao, Sabrosa, Alij y So Joo da Pesqueira, que es desde donde se toma la foto. Y antes eran ms, porque al menos Tabuao es el resultado de la fusin de varios ayuntamientos anteriores. Como puede apreciarse, la cantidad de viedo que hay en esta comarca es simplemente apabullante.
