Arthurian View

A remarkable view of Salisbury Crags as well as Arthur's Seat from Edinburgh Castle. Much improved LARGE upon black!

Arthur's Seat is the main peak of the organisation of hills in the center of Edinburgh, about the mile easterly of the castle. The hill rises upon top of the city to the height of 823' (251m). It's easy to climb, nonetheless we didn't get the possibility to do so at the time. The Salisbury Crags have been the series of 150' (46m) cliffs at the top of the subsidiary coax of Arthur's Seat. Like the Castle Rock upon which Edinburgh Castle is built, it was formed by an archaic volcano system.

Repeat: much improved LARGE upon black!

The outtake (in comment below) is the view of Edinburgh from the castle. The "three towers," from left to right, have been Scott Monument, The Balmoral (Hotel), as well as Nelson's Monument.
