Le col de Vergio est domin par la statue du Christ Roi, monolithe de granit rose pesant 25 tonnes, haut de 6 mtres 9,50 m avec son socle). Cette statue monumentale est l'uvre du sculpteur corse Nol Bonardi. Elle orne le col depuis 1984.
